Paper has become the set designer’s medium of choice. These bold geometric worlds of craft elevate ordinary objects, becoming contemporary stories of playful narrative. Both set designer and prop maker, the following artists work primarily with paper combining product with still life, creating entire three-dimensional planets or simply constructing a meal. With the DIY trend influencing both design and fashion, the skill of working with paper feels closer to pop art than arts and crafts.
