Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola’s latest collection for Glas Italia follows the recent surge in iridescent glass furniture. Designed with a multi-chromatic finish, the pieces reflect subtle color gradients in all directions. Japanese design studio Nendo also collaborated with Glas Italia in a series of glass tables. Led by designer Oki Sato the pieces are created by combining five sheets of frosted glass and joints with brightly colored edges. In reference to the blurred effect, the appropriately titled Soft collection ranges from combinations of yellow to red, blue to pink, and turquoise to purple. The hexagon-shaped glass tables of Sebastian Scherer are designed to fit together and apart in a never-ending game of tetris.
